Jobs App

Last updated: March 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how the Jobs app (“we,” “our,” “us,” or the “App”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our application. Jobs is developed by Three Thirteen LLC.

What Data We Collect

Camera Access

The Jobs app uses your device’s front-facing camera to display a mirror view with visual feedback. The camera feed is NOT recorded, stored, or transmitted. It exists only in your app session on your device.

Reflection Notes & Answers

When you use the Reflect feature, you can choose to log a daily reflection by answering Yes or No and optionally writing a note. These reflections and notes are stored locally on your device using SwiftData (Apple’s local database). They are NOT sent to any server, NOT shared with anyone, and NOT processed by any third party. Only you can access your reflections.

Keyword Extraction

The app uses natural language processing (Apple’s NaturalLanguage framework) to identify recurring themes in your notes, such as common keywords or topics. This analysis happens locally on your device only. Keywords are never sent to our servers or any external service.

YouTube Link

The app embeds a YouTube video (Stanford Commencement speech) using YouTube’s no-cookies embed, which minimizes YouTube data collection. When you watch this video or visit our website via the provided link, YouTube and our website may collect standard usage data according to their own privacy policies. We do not control or monitor this data.

No Analytics, No Server Storage

We do NOT use analytics services. We do NOT collect usage data, device information, or IP addresses. We do NOT have servers that store your data. All reflections, insights, and streak data remain on your device.

What We DO NOT Collect

We do not collect:

&#x2022  Your name, email, or contact information

&#x2022  Location data

&#x2022  Device identifiers or analytics data

&#x2022  Usage patterns or app behavior data

&#x2022  Crash reports or diagnostic data

How Your Data is Protected

All your reflection data stays on your device and is protected by your device’s built-in security (iOS encryption, biometric locks, or PIN protection). You control who has access to your device and therefore your reflections. We do not have access to your device or your data.

Your Rights

You have full control of your data. You can:

&#x2022  Delete individual reflections within the app at any time

&#x2022  Uninstall the app, which deletes all local data

&#x2022  Reset your iPhone/device to remove all app data

Children’s Privacy

The Jobs app is designed as a mindfulness tool for users of all ages. Since we do not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information on servers, COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) requirements do not apply. However, parents and guardians are welcome to use the app or supervise younger users.

Third-Party Links

The app includes a link to a YouTube video and an optional “Buy Me a Coffee” link. These are operated by third parties (Google/YouTube and Buy Me a Coffee, respectively). When you click these links, you leave the Jobs app and are subject to those services’ privacy policies. We are not responsible for their data practices.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
